With a steadfast commitment to national strategic goals, TP collaborates closely with development partners and stakeholders to advance the HIV response in Nepal. Through its tireless efforts, TP has emerged as a leader in HIV and TB interventions across Nepal specially in districts such as Nuwakot, Dhading, Rasuwa, and Kathmandu in Bagmati province and Sudhurpachim Province.
TP’s initiatives extend beyond direct healthcare provision, encompassing positive prevention programs, community care centers, and home-based care services. Through innovative strategies such as peer education and outreach activities, TP fosters awareness, promotes treatment adherence, and combats stigma and discrimination surrounding HIV and TB.
Moreover, TP’s influence transcends national borders as the country partner organization for Nepal of APCASO, a regional civil society network championing health equity and human rights. Through strategic partnerships and advocacy efforts, TP amplifies the voices of marginalized communities, driving change at both national and regional levels.
Currently engaged in pivotal projects such as the Stop TB Partnership’s Challenge Facility for Civil Society and the Global Fund Community, Rights, and Gender Strategic Initiative, TP remains at the forefront of TB advocacy and community mobilization. With a focus on building partnerships and fostering collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities, TP continues to make strides in reducing stigma and discrimination associated with HIV and TB, paving the way for a healthier, more inclusive society.
